Outside: very fine, unnoticeable fine scratches on vernis leather; exterior has been redyed by previous owner.  Shinny vernis exterior in black, however, under lighting, it appears as dark purple.  Overall exterior looks good.  zipper with mild tarnishing noted.  zipper working well and no concerns with function.  

Inside: baby blue interior, with some stains/fine scratches noted in the inner pocket.  

Odor: No odor
