Condition

Outside:  The white Monogram Multicolore canvas is intact, though the colored monogram print shows signs of fading and rubbing consistent with vintage use. There is general surface wear and some discolouration common with the white canvas aging process.  Visible wear to the edge glazing, particularly at the fold points and corners where the coating has worn down or rubbed off.  Corners / edges with rubs/damage leather indicated as per photos.  The gold corner plates and hardware show surface scratches and scuffing. The front snap button works but shows tarnish.  No cracks on canvas. The Vachetta leather has developed a medium honey patina but shows significant signs of use.

Inside: There are visible indentations (pressure marks) on the flaps from the hardware pressing against the leather. There are notable dark markings and residue stains on the leather (see photos). The inside of the coin pocket shows darkening and coin residue (dirt) consistent with heavy use.

Stitching: Generally intact, though some areas show darkening.
